about

Opening Track for I-ORION and a personal message from Ryan Christopher to his son, Orion Christopher Cox.

lyrics

It’s time to break your soul
free or repeat this loss
treading in a sea of chains, shackles, and broken dreams

It’s easy to feel the weight of it
you can’t drown in a sea of chains
shackles & Broken dreams

In a life of blackness, my search for light ended. Upon the backs of evil, I began to feel the sun. Ego melted away as I looked down at my evil twins.

Confidence grew, my perception inverts towards the warmth as I stand upon my most trusted foundation ironically comprised of my biggest fears.

A son shines bright, a warmth to thaw the cold & dead of darkest night. Follow the star, my pillar, my sight. See me through, please help me...to not end this plight.

No longer will I drown a prisoner in chains, beneath the fog, between the waves. No longer will I perceive each day as if they were chains. No longer will I drift alone, isolated by my own selfish ways.

No longer will I repeat this loss, now treading in a sea of change.
No longer lost unable to see. no longer drowning in a sea of chains, and shackles & broken dreams.
